Bookkeeping

We recommend and use MYOB as the main bookkeeping software package as its used by more than 95% of our clients at Williams Courtman Accountants and Business Advisors and we find it can handle pretty much all kinds of needs of our small-medium business clients relatively easily. We can also keep your records in an excel spreadsheet model if it is more suitable to your needs.

We can assist with any or all of the following on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis:

  • MYOB data entry for invoicing and purchases
  • Processing payroll and reconciliation/payment of employer obligations (including workers compensation, payroll tax, PAYG withholding)
  • Update and maintain employee records
  • Debtors and payables monitoring
  • Reconcile MYOB to bank statements
  • Credit card reconciliation and transaction entry into MYOB
  • Assist with weekly management of cash flow
  • Prepare and explain monthly profit and loss reports and/or cash flow reports
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly BAS
  • Prepare monthly checklists for you to manage to stay on top of all the accounts tasks.
  • MYOB installation and set-up & training on how to use MYOB
  • Once a year on-site support to prepare your payroll year end reconciliations and PAYG Payment Summaries
  • Train you or your staff on any or all of these tasks (see also training)

We can provide our service on-site (with laptop if needed) or arrange to pick up your information and deliver it back to you all sorted out!

We charge on an hourly rate and aim to bring you a balanced mix of experience and affordability.
