In my 20 years working life I have gained the qualifications, knowledge and expertise in managing credit whilst working with many businesses across different industries. A "switched on" credit person plays an important role in preserving cash flow and profitability. I have worked for large multi - national companies and have heard all the excuses people use to delay paying their accounts. But all too often I have seen prompt payers become slow payers because they are experiencing "cash flow" problems.

Reason: Don't have the time to monitor their debtors, don't have qualified and experienced staff to manage their accounts receivable, don't ask customers to complete a credit application, or they have extended credit to someone that has disappeared or closed down owing them money

In the modern business environment to remain competitive businesses must sell on credit. Credit is a cost of doing business. I can show you how to develop credit policies and procedures, what information you should be seeking on the credit application, how to investigate a potential customer's credit worthiness, and how to monitor your accounts receivable ledger in a professional manner and keep your customers happy.
